Parentesi suspension lamp designed by Achille Castiglioni & Piu Manzu in 1971. It is an innovative and flexible design, awarded with Compasso d' Oro in 1979. Lamp providing direct light, moves vertically via sliding of a painted or nickel-plated shaped steel tube on a ceiling-to-floor steel cable (4000 mm long). The stem and the canopy are available in white, black, red or nickel. Two versions are available: with on/off switch or with dimmer.
